8 hours Private Boat Tour of Capri and the Amalfi Coast from Naples

Please note that the following itinerary is only a suggested proposal.

As this is a fully private boat experience, the program can be customized both in advance and during the tour itself. You are completely free to modify stops, timing, swimming breaks, lunch location, or the overall route, provided that changes are technically feasible and compatible with sea conditions and navigation distances.

The proposed departure time of 10:00 AM is simply a recommendation. We can arrange departure at a different time according to your preferences. That said, we generally suggest starting between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM, as these hours typically offer the best sea conditions for a smoother and more enjoyable navigation.

The standard duration of 8 hours is also a proposal. Should you wish to extend your experience, additional hours can absolutely be arranged at an extra hourly rate.

Our goal is to create a seamless and tailor-made day at sea, perfectly aligned with your expectations.

10:00 AM – Departure from Naples 

We'll begin our journey from Marina Powerboat Italia, located at Santa Lucia in Naples. As we cruise across the Bay of Naples, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the Fishermen's Port of Santa Lucia, Castel dell’Ovo, Mount Vesuvius, and the Sorrento Peninsula en route to Capri.

10:45 AM - 12:15 PM – Scenic Cruise Around Capri 
Explore the island’s most iconic sights from the sea, including:

• Blue Grotto – Capri’s most famous sea cave, where sunlight creates a magical blue glow inside. Entry is weather-dependent and requires a separate ticket.

• Cala del Rio – A hidden gem on the western coast of Capri, this secluded cove offers crystal-clear waters and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a swim away from the crowds.

• Punta Carena Lighthouse – One of Italy’s most powerful lighthouses, perched on dramatic cliffs. A great spot to admire stunning coastal views.

• Green Grotto – A mesmerizing sea cave with vibrant emerald waters, Sunlight filtering through the water creates a dazzling natural effect.

• Marina Piccola – A charming bay on the southern side of Capri, sheltered from the wind, making it a perfect place for swimming and sunbathing with a breathtaking view of the Faraglioni.

• Faraglioni Rocks – Capri’s iconic rock formations rising from the sea. Sailing around the "arch of love" in the middle rock is a must for an unforgettable moment.

• Natural Arch – A spectacular prehistoric rock formation, shaped by nature over thousands of years, offering breathtaking views from the sea.

• White Grotto – A stunning cave with white rock formations and stalactites, creating a surreal landscape against the deep blue sea.

• Villa Malaparte – A striking modernist villa built on a secluded cliff, famously featured in films and admired for its unique architecture and dramatic setting overlooking the Mediterranean.

12:15 PM - 1:00 PM – Cruise Along the Amalfi Coast up to Nerano 

We'll continue along the stunning Amalfi Coast, pausing in the picturesque bay of Nerano and stop for lunch.

1:00 PM - 2:30 PM – Lunch in Nerano 

For lunch, I recommend La Conca del Sogno, a spectacular seaside restaurant renowned for its fresh seafood and Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant offers complimentary docking for our boat, providing a seamless dining experience.​

Alternative Dining Options: Should you prefer a different venue, here are some other esteemed seaside restaurants in the area:

• Lo Scoglio da Tommaso A family-run establishment in Marina del Cantone, celebrated for its farm-to-table approach and signature dishes like the original "Spaghetti alla Nerano."​

• Ristorante Mariagrazia Known as the birthplace of "Spaghetti alla Nerano," this historic spot offers authentic Mediterranean flavors right on the beach.​

• Il Cantuccio Located in Marina del Cantone, Il Cantuccio provides a rustic and intimate setting, specializing in seafood-based pastas and fresh local fish.​

• Chez Black (Positano) An iconic beachfront restaurant in Positano, famous for its lively atmosphere and dishes like sea urchin pasta.​

2:30 PM - 3:15 PM – Cruise Past Positano and Li Galli Islands 

After lunch, we'll sail past the charming town of Positano and the legendary Li Galli Islands.

3:15 PM - 4:30 PM – Scenic Coastal Cruise to Amalfi 

Relax onboard as we cruise along the beautiful coastline: Experience the breathtaking coastal scenery en route to Amalfi.​ Fiordo di Furore and Amalfi – Photo Stop: Capture the dramatic beauty of one of the Amalfi Coast’s most iconic natural spots.​

4:30 PM - 5:30 PM – Scenic Coastal Cruise Passing Sorrento 

Relax onboard as we cruise along the beautiful coastline, passing by Sorrento and taking in the breathtaking scenery.​

​

6:00 PM – Return to Naples 

We'll conclude our journey back at Marina Powerboat Italia.

Additional Notes:

• Capri Docking: If you wish to disembark in Capri for exploration, a port fee of €100 applies.​

• Positano Docking: Optional port fee of €150 applies.​

• Amalfi Docking: Optional port fee of €50 applies.​

• Customization: This itinerary is flexible. Please feel free to request any changes before or during the tour to ensure your experience is exactly as you envision.​

Important Notes – Tour Customization & Logistics:

Please note that the fulfillment of all scheduled stops listed in our Private Boat Tour itineraries depends on the guest’s time management preferences. As this is a private experience, you are free to focus more on one destination over another. This flexibility allows for a more enjoyable and personalized tour, but it also means that spending extended time at one location may result in skipping subsequent stops, either partially or entirely, or modifying the itinerary to ensure a timely return.

Additionally, certain external factors beyond our or the client’s control may affect the timing and progression of the tour. For example, embarking and disembarking at some ports may require waiting in line based on the order of arriving boats. Similarly, access to attractions like the Blue Grotto depends on sea conditions and often involves unpredictable wait times, which could impact the rest of the itinerary.

Please also consider that reaching the town centers of destinations such as Capri and Sorrento involves the use of public transportation or taxis, which can add time ashore. Conversely, in places like Positano and Sant’Angelo (Ischia), guests disembark directly in the heart of the town, allowing for faster access and smoother exploration.
